Our creation space on Elm Hill (NR31HG), Norwich, is very busy year-round delivering our artistic programme.

However, when we can, we are delighted to offer the use of our three spaces.

We are a small but flexible and organised team - offering a bespoke, creative service.

BOTANICAL GARDEN BAR

Our unique, outdoor green space is central to Norwich and can seat/host up to 57 people (in a cabaret-style configuration). Best suited for May - September. The space is fully flexible.

THE POTTING SHED

Our cosy, indoor space. Steeped in history, with elegant, contemporary design. The Potting Shed links into the indoor bar area. Fully heated. Best suited September - May for seated events. The Potting Shed can be empty, in cabaret-style or set up with a long table.

MESSY EVENT SPACE

Channel our creativity with exclusive hire of our creation space. Our Main House theatre is a fully flexible, 15m x 9m space with high-quality, technical facilities. Fully heated. Fully accessible. Bookable Year-Round (subject to availability).

FAQs

How much does it cost to hire with you? Prices change throughout the year. Generally, we consider how many people, timings and requirements. However, we are highly competitive within the Norwich events landscape.

Why can’t I ticket our event? We are primarily a theatre company creating and presenting our own work, alongside a much wider programme. Public events (which aren’t our own) will be confusing for our audiences. There are plenty of events spaces in Norwich who can allow you to publicly ticket your events.

Is the venue accessible? We are a Grade I listed church. Our spaces are fully accessible but we do suggest a conversation in advance to ensure your vision of accessibility aligns with what we can offer.

Can I book all three spaces? It’s less likely all three spaces will be available year-round but do ask.

How will our guests get into your venues? Generally, it will be through our Wensum Street venue.

What is your hosting style? We staff our events on a case-by-case basis. We are a highly professional, organised outfit.

Will other things be going on during our event? No, whatever/whenever you choose, there won’t be anything going on in the other spaces. You’ll get our full focus.

How late can our event run into the evening? Our licence is different for indoors and outdoors - we can discuss this with you.

Do you do events on Sundays? Yes.

Can we have music? Yes you can hire a band/DJ or use our speakers/Spotify throughout the venue.

How early can I get into the venue to set it up how I want it? You let us know and we’ll adjust the price accordingly. Nb clearing up afterwards will need to be factored in too if you have a strong aesthetic vision for your event. Strict start / end times apply.

Will there be a contract or letter of agreement? Yes we’ll provide a very simple, two page hire agreement you to sign once we’ve agreed all the terms.

Are you insured? Yes, we have extensive PLI.
